The staff was very helpful and they gave us another pillow.

Choose this hotel only if you don't have a lot of luggage. The rooms are really small.

Always enjoy staying at APA cuz their bed and banket are comfy.

Bed and blanket are the main reason why I always choose APA when I travel in Japan. As for the location, this APA hotel is located between Ueno station and Akihabara station, and both stations are walkable distance.

I don't think the breakfast is worth the price. I stayed at APA Hotel Keisei Ueno-Ekimae this summer, and their breakfast was great. The only thing I can say is that they are very different.

Great location but be aware that a pillow might damage your sleep

The location is amazing, you can walk to UENO or to Akihabara. There are lots of places to eat even late at night. The room was quiet and they provided a clean towel and amenities every day.

My pillow was so bad, I did not enjoy sleeping at all. I am very sensitive to a pillow and could not sleep. I asked for another pillow and they provided me an extra, but the same one. It got better but not much. I would not stay here again simply because I could not sleep.

I was very pleased and would not hesitate to stay here again!

Very convenient location and excellent value for a solo traveler. The room was small to western standards, but very efficiently organized and clean. Quiet, comfy bed, and the breakfast was quite good!

The room only came with one pillow, which is probably fine for most. Fortunately the staff provided another pillow when i asked. You know, for propping myself up in bed and reading, etc.

Nice smooth stay in Central Tokyo

Great location, a stone's throw away from both Akihabara and Ueno park/zoo. The process of checking in/out was smooth and without problems and the room was fresh and the AC kept it nice and cool even in the summer heat. Most importantly the staff were fantastic and super accomodating to all our needs.

It's an APA hotel, so the room is of course small, but still manageable, especially if you know what you're signing up for. Sadly though the toilet/shower felt very small, especially as a tall person.

Pleasant stay in downtown Tokyo

The location is excellent, near the skyliner and Narita express trains from Narita Airport and Ueno Park. Many metro stations nearby to get you almost everywhere in Tokyo. Lots of restaurants in the neighborhood (sushi, ramen, yakiniku) and convenience stores. The rooms are very clean and the staff is polite.

As a common thing in most hotels in Japan, the rooms are not very spacious so it is no that convenient to travel with lots of luggage
